Our First Blog Post

This is going to be a quick catch up blog.  We have a lot to share with you all. Mitch and I met in September of 2010 and quickly fell in love.  We spent the Christmas together at his parents house in Tremonton Utah.
While we were dating Mitch and I decided we wanted a "promise" TV.  We found our perfect 42" TV at Wal-Mart and kept it at my apartment.
During Conference weekend Mitchell proposed!  It was fantastic.  He took me to Snake River Falls in Idaho Falls and while he proposed sparks flew -- literally :) He had us circled in sparklers as he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.  He also wrote a book for me about our time together titled "The Princess and the Jester."  Sadly, we spent most of our engagement apart and it was terrible.
Here is the proposal from the perspective of a
 member of a sparkler team.

Mitch visited me while I was in Ohio and there we took our engagement photos.  He spent the week in Ohio where he found he hated the humidity. Other than that we had a great time meeting my family and enjoying our time together.

Shortly after I arrived back in Rexburg, Mitch and I were married.  July 23 we had a double wedding with Beth and Derek Miller, Mitch's sister.  We were married in the Idaho Falls temple.

We had a beautiful reception which was set up by My Wedding Creation.  April Judy made our cake and it was lovely.

You are mostly caught up but we will fill you in all the way in the next blog.  We hope to blog once a week and share with you more pictures!
