The Month of September, Mitch's birthday!

This month is a special one! Mitch had his birthday and we were so happy to celebrate him! He's the best and I loved getting him his presents. We ended up buying him 29 balloons and put his pictures on the string from different years of his life. He knew what his presents were so I had a little fun wrapping them over and over. I wish I had video taped him opening it but I didn't think about it! Still kicking myself for that one. Lynnlee and Amelia helped make his delicious strawberry cheesecake. It was so fun! We went to the Natural History Museum in Salt Lake for his birthday too.
Trying to fit 29 balloons into my car was
a tough feat. It was windy too.

The girls helping set up.

"Oh, funny."

"Emily!"

Lynnlee dragged these around all day and days
after.

The birthday boy!

The museum.

My favorite dinosaur.

Cake number one.

Strawberry brownie cheesecake number two!

I had to improvise with the candles. I thought I had enough.
Turns out, I was a little short.

September was also full of a few other things - Olivia's (Mitch's cousin's baby) first birthday and puppy party, Harrison, (Mitch's mission buddies) wedding, fishing fun, a visit to the zoo, and a stop in Rexburg. Here are a few pictures of all those events! Picture overload!
Olivia's birthday!

Puppy love!

We love puppies.

What!?

Getting ready for the wedding.

Our own Rapunzel.

A strapping viking.

About as good of a picture as we could get together!

Mitch and Miles.

Our fishing expedition!
Our little beauties.

Amelia wouldn't have anything to do with
the worm. Lynn thought it was cool!

In the little boat.

Mitch caught the first and possibly the only fish.

The zoo with Ty and Chy.
They liked riding on the animals.

We got to feed the giraffes!

Lynn was amazed by their long tongues.

It licked Mitchell!
Amelia and Nollie, best friends forever.

Amelia was a little afraid.

We were able to go up to Rexburg for a weekend in September for Mitch's cousin's funeral. It was nice to see everyone even if the situation was a little sad. Thanks Lane and Mallory for letting us stay with you! I can't seem to find many pictures, sorry!

The Rexburg temple.

Our old apartment!

Mitch was able to get in on the Livingston sister shot. Fits right in.

What's a trip to Idaho without going to see the horses with Aunt
Taletha?

And there it is, September in a nutshell. Whew.

Speedy Summer

He's a picture filled summary of our very speedy summer!

The fourth of July was a magical time for Lynnlee. She got to stay up with us and watch us set things on fire. Tommy and Mitchell bought some from the fireworks stand and we set them off in our parking lot. Tommy also almost died. He decided to jump through and firework but it didn't work as well as he had anticipated. No worries, there was no injury.

Courtney and Chris were in Utah for a second and we were able to visit them. Amelia and Lynnlee stayed with their cousins while Mitch and I celebrated our anniversary. We stayed in Salt Lake, went shopping, went horseback riding, and of course ate a lot of food!
Everyone has to hold the baby!
Catching butterflies and being princess.

Amelia loves Hattie!
With six girls all with a mind of their own this is the best we got.
Love them.

We took over our first gym :)

Mitch's mule.

My horse's name was Ariel!

The Blue Iguana, not too shabby.

Swimming because of course you swim at the
hotel!

Our anniversary was so fun. I'm very happy we were able to go do something together. I love Mitchell!
And these beauties were super comfy!

What's summer without a few swimming jaunts? We've went to Brigham a few times and Logan once. Puddle jumpers are life savers! I would lose my sanity without them. Thank goodness. We also celebrated Grayson's birthday! It was at the Bounce N' Slide and you know how my kids love them some Bounce N' Slide.

Trains on the tracks! Chy is so creative!

He's blue! Don't worry he ate all the frosting!

Here's a race with a crash! It was basically Nascar!

Our library is awesome and they had a Harry Potter themed party! We all got sorted into our houses, made wands, drank some brewed potion, ate chocolate frogs, and made badges for our houses. It was a blast! I'm almost positive I enjoyed it more than the girls.
Story hour the day before the party consisted of
meeting Hedwig and learning about owls.

Lynnlee was Ravenclaw!

Millie was Slytherin... Are we surprised? Haha

Chy was a Ravenclaw too!

A magic wand!

My Slytherin baby.

Haha I love this!

Seriously!

Nollie takes the cake though! Hahaha!

Hmm. It's quite nice.

So excited!

Eating our chocolate frogs. We did hold on tight!

Don't mind them, they are just playing a bit of Quidditch.

Amelia is an EXCELLENT chaser.
For now, that's all I have time for. Next blog you'll hear about hikes, ward parties, zoo adventures, and lots of walks!
